I actually love ty soft dolls. But this one was new and we purchased 2 of these recently. The doll looks awful and not worth the money.

My first Ty girl...
She's cool. She's fun. She is so pretty, Exept, well, - She needed a make over, her clothes needed a change ( Elspsilay her shoes! ) But, well, she's asweome now! I'm buying Sassy Star! My faveorite color is Blue, so I'm buying Sassy Star next! Anyhow, she's totally cute!

Was fun until it broke
I loved this doll and the other one I got (Jammin Jenna), and it was mostly because of the website associated with the dolls. It was great fun playing dolls online. I earned money by playing games to shop for clothes and food for my girl. I got to customize her hair and makeup; I made a little mini-me in ty girlz land. It was fun and bliss for a week--then I couln't log in anymore. My girl and all the work I put into her had dissappeared. I emailed customer service and they told me they were working on the problem, but I still have no online doll. This makes me very sad, and I'm still hoping I'll get her back someday. So, this toy is fun--until you can't play with her online anymore. Then, you'll just be sad and frustrated at ty for not trying to help more when things go wrong.

Doll is, well, a doll, but online activities is what's appealing.
My 7yo loves the website activities. She also has a load of Webkinz, which simply do not hold her attention any longer; this Ty Girlz thing is more geared to girls her age. The games, the doll dressup, fashion & style is where it's at.

Classic aviator watch
I've had this watch for about 3 months. I bought it at a wholesale club for about what Amazon is selling it for now.

The watch has a nice heft. It was a little difficult to set but has run flawlessly since. The watch band tends to pull hairs but removing a link or two cures that problem.

My only suggestion for improvement would be some type of backlighting for the watch face or at least the digital display. The digital display is difficult to see since the LCD is somewhat gray on a black background.

All in all, I'm glad I bought this watch. I have two other Citizens, one other an Eco-Drive, and I've been very pleased with their performance.

Gave this to my brother, he loved it. Great quality. I prefer Casio watches nevertheless.

my first expensive watch
This watch was pretty budget friendly considering its brand and capabilities. I am not a pilot so all the functions are just for looks. (At least if a real pilot saw my watch, I would hope they would be impressed.) The first thing I noticed was that the watch came without any plastic coverings. My first suspicion was that it was not a new watch. Perhaps it could have been worn/owned prior. From my research, the watch does not scrape on the glass nor the links so my first suspicion still can be true! Still, I decided to keep it. Setting the time was a bit confusing. Although I set it to my time zone, for some reason, daylight savings did not automatically adjust. I do plan to travel. Perhaps I will get use to it by then. The last thing I had to do was to size the links. I debated going to a fancy jewelry store or just a mall cart to do the job. The man at the mall cart did the job just fine. It fits now, tells the correct time, and was affordable for my first what I would call, an expensive watch.

ive had my watch for almost four years. it has withstood everyday wear and tear. the black plating does fade, but over time slowly. it is a great watch. my analog time is off from the digital time. but all i do is set the time to three time zones ahead, and its fine.

should get it fixed... but oh well.

i have not had the battery changed for 3.5 years.

the crystal is very hard to scratch.

He likes it very much
This was a 2009 Christmas present for my husband. He likes a heavy watch with lots of bells and whistles that "feels like a proper watch" (his words) so he's very pleased with this one. The metal wristband is very large. He has big wrists and had to have a link taken out. He might even have another taken out. All-in-all, he's very happy with it, so I am too.

In the third Nexus collection, Baron’s 1980s sf superhero tries a brain implant to stop the dreams compelling him to execute intergalactic mass murderers. The device works but turns the dashing Nexus into a pill-popping couch potato who rather resembles the later Elvis. Pal Judah Maccabee’s entreaties to shape up fall on deaf ears, and even loyal girlfriend Sundra gets fed up and takes her solar sailcraft business back to Mars. Nexus seems headed to a Kingly Krackup when two emissaries from the Merk, the alien being who gave Nexus his (unwanted) powers, unwantedly intervene. This is arguably the series at its peak. Baron’s story lines would later tend to meander, but here the plotting is taut and exciting, and action and characterization are effectively balanced. Eric Shanower assumes original artist Steve Rude’s sleek brushwork, effective layouts, and gorgeous figure drawing (Rude still does the covers). The only drawback here is the batch of secondary stories featuring gatorlike standup comic Clonezone the Hilariator–drawn from the original comic books, but still . . .
